Eric's painting 2:00AM received an "Award of Excellence" and The Confession and Devotion received "Special Recognition" from the juror for exhibition Realism X at the Upstream People Gallery during the month of February. The juror stated:
"ERIC ARMUSIK of Hamburg, Pennsylvania has three very finely detailed realistic paintings in oil. “2:00 AM” is well developed with a strong play with the diagonal forming a diamond movement that is repeated in the male figure. The idea of an artist working into the morning hours can be understood by many artists. The painting “Devotion” also uses a kind of diamond orchestration with the female figure aglow amidst the darker interior surroundings. And the work “Confession” shows a special drama in the highly lit contrast in the face."

is as unique as the artist that created it. A goal of the Painted
Violin project is to marry the art and music communities for the visual
benefit of the residents of the Lehigh Valley. The public is welcome
to view the Painted Violins at the exhibition sites and to join the LVCO
at the Auction of the Violins.
