Oil Paint - 37 ml tubes (Winsor Newton (not Winton) or Michael Harding)

Titanium White
Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red Medium
Burnt Umber
Raw Umber
Ivory Black
French Ultramarine

*All non-water-soluble oils, thinner and mediums must be taken home for proper disposal. Students cannot pour any chemicals down the studio sink. For safety and convenience you may substitute with Winsor & Newton water-soluble oils

Panel - must be a smooth surface without a tooth - very important

11 x 14" smooth painting panel (Clayboard, Gessoboard or wood/masonite/metal panel with 3 coats of gesso sanded smooth)

Brushes - No preference on natural vs. synthetic brushes. What is important is that they are soft. No hogs hair brushes.

Assorted filbert brushes and round brushes size 0-6.

One large round brush (size 10)

1 Large Flat (size 10)

Medium

I bottle of Liquin Fine Detail. (not plain Liquin - very important) or 1 bottle of water-soluble Linseed Oil, if using Winsor & Newton water-soluble oils.

Palette

I prefer working with a wood palette but if you can't find one use what works for you
